Janet De Neefe

Founder, Ubud Food Festival

Janet is a restaurateur and cookbook author. Born in Melbourne, she moved to Bali in 1984. Janet runs Casa Luna and Indus restaurants, Bar Luna and the Casa Luna Cooking School. In 2004 she founded the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, one of the most widely known writers festivals in the world. In 2015 Janet founded the Ubud Food Festival, a cross-cultural culinary discovery, with Indonesian food as the star.

Maya Kerthyasa

Food & Lifestyle Writer

Maya is a food, travel and lifestyle writer. She has contributed to the likes of Australian Gourmet Traveller, Verve India and Broadsheet, and freelances for brands such as Paro Good Earth and Potato Head Family. Formerly based in Sydney, Maya has now returned home to Bali and is currently working on a book about her grandmother’s cooking. When she’s not writing, Maya gives talks on Balinese cuisine and co-hosts boutique dinner events with Ubud-based marketing firm Elami and Co. 

Dorian Pryce

F&B Professional

Dorian is an Irish hospitality professional known for running some the most highly acclaimed bars, restaurants and clubs in London. After visiting Bali for many years, he made the move in 2015 to take the helm of Potato Head Beach Club where he led the team as General Manager for four years. With now 32 years of experience in the industry, he continues to shine in his newly appointed role of F&B Director for all venues at Desa Potato Head.

Pierre Lang

Hotelier and gourmand

Pierre has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He previously worked for established international brands including Armani Hotels & Resorts, Grand Hyatt in Dubai and Berlin, and Park Hyatt in the Maldives. Pierre is the General Manager of Alila Seminyak and is an active member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs

Rinrin Marinka

Chef

Rinrin is a celebrity chef and restaurateur who is passionate about experimenting especially with Indonesian fusion.

Food Writer/Publisher

Jed is a respected food writer and publishing professional. His brand FoodieS publishes a monthly print magazine with digital channels, featuring culinary stories from across Indonesia, the Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Yuda Bastara

Celebrity Chef

After his culinary degree he went in to work in Melbourne and Malaysia before coming back to Jakarta. He is a private chef and appears on Asian Food Channels's Urban Cook. His Personal missions is educate Indonesians to cook simple, Healthy and yummy everyday.
