GINGER MOON is a contemporary Asian restaurant with a nod to Indonesian flavors masterminded by chef-owner Dean Keddell. A famed locavore, Chef Dean favors a light and seasonal approach to his cooking, as well as reflecting the local flavors and food history. It is no surprise that the food menu at Ginger Moon is heavily influenced by Balinese cuisine as well as flavors from around the Indonesian archipelago. Ginger Moon occupies a handsome, light-filled space in the ever-bustling Seminyak area. Utilizing painted recycled wood, naturally-finished timbers and hand-woven light fixtures, the interior reflects the restaurant’s focus on sustainability and environment mindfulness. To start off your culinary experience, the half-moon steamed buns come highly recommended with fillings such as babi guling and beef rendang. For a locally-inspired twist on a classic, we like the Bali nachos which features spiced chicken, sambal and crackers.
