PENANG BISTRO is a fresh take on traditional favorites from the melting pot region of Malacca Strait. The menu offers a wide variety of the region’s best recipes prepared with the freshest ingredients. The concept is Contemporary Malaysian fare inspired by the richness of the Strait’s culinary tradition. Penang Bistro has opened nine outlets so far, in Central Park, Grand Indonesia, Mall Kelapa Gading, Kebon Sirih, Pakubuwono, Kota Kasablanka, Oakwood Residence, Senayan City, and Pacific Place. Always adding new menu options to serve the best for patrons, Penang Bistro’s newlyaddition menu is Tahu Telor Mama Ong and Oxtail Soup Bukit Bintang. The chef’s classics include the stir fried prawn with hot soy sauce, Penang Hokkien Mie, Penang Mushroom Golden Egg Yok, Semarak Red Sweet & Sour Chicken, Tiger Grouper steamed with Imperial Hong Kong style, and Grilled Duck Kota Kinabalu. The dining’s vegetable-based meals include ebi string bean, 3-kinds of baby mushroom, Thai kailan with salted fish, kangkung balachan, garlic spinach, fried tofu negeri jiran, fried tofu penang kampoeng style, fried tofu peranakan style, and sapo tofu.
Their take on the classic roti canai features chocolate and peanut, cheese, and plain sweet.
