Such vibe is brought to life in the venue through the use of light wood materials and selection of soft colors. Though the origin of the name itself comes from the Vietnamese word meaning “well done”, GIOI stays true to elevate local delicacies combined with an international touch. Such examples are the Salmon lodeh which features the traditional Indonesian lodeh, served with eggplant, long beans, labu siam,
like Jakarta. Favorites here include the Grilled Octopus with potatoes and
melinjo, and then plated with a seared, sous-vide salmon and slow salad. Their Cumi Sambal Oelek is served in a white round plate, consisting of a neat line of calamari with traditional sambal on top and garnished with edible flowers. The crowd favourite dish is the Signature Crispy Duck with three choices of sambal, served on a wooden tray. GIOI’s most ordered drink to complement their menu is the Chai Thai Ice Milk Tea, and ending the dining experience in GIOI the servers will recommend their mango sticky rice or crême brulée.
